Privacy contact and purpose

Contact Lixtyn at [email protected] or the address below about privacy. When you choose to send an enquiry, we use your name, work email and project description to respond, prepare a quote and manage an accepted writing project. An enquiry is not permission to send marketing emails.

The email form

The supplied JavaScript reads the fields in your browser and prepares a mailto link containing the recipient, subject and message. It does not submit the fields to a server or save them in localStorage. The email is sent only if you send it from your email application. Your email provider processes that transmission under its own terms. Please avoid unnecessary personal information, sensitive information or third-party details.

Consent, access and correction

The required checkbox records your choice in the prepared email wording; it is not stored in a website database. You can ask about the personal information held about you, request access or correction, or withdraw consent for future use by emailing our privacy contact. Legal and contractual requirements may limit deletion or affect our ability to continue a project. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. If a concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where applicable.

Retention and service providers

We retain enquiry correspondence only as needed to respond and follow up, and project records as needed to provide the agreed work and meet applicable legal or accounting requirements. Ask our privacy contact about retention for your case. Email and hosting providers may process communications or technical records to deliver their services, potentially outside Canada depending on the provider. No particular provider or storage location is identified by these files. We do not sell enquiry information or publish your project as a sample without permission.

Supplied code and published hosting

These supplied files include no analytics, advertising pixels, external scripts, remote fonts or embedded third-party services. The only programmed browser storage is the cookie-notice closing preference in localStorage, described in the Cookie Policy. This code does not transmit that preference.

This statement covers the supplied files. Hosting, a CDN or services such as Cloudflare may add technical logs, cookies or scripts after publication. Checking the ZIP does not verify the published website. Any added tools must be checked on the live site and reflected in this policy and the relevant consent options.
